Can’t wait to shoot for you there~!
As I am working on the post-processing of Debora & Hubert’s engagement photos, I couldn’t help but to share with you some of the beautiful images taken.
There are many things that Debora, Hubert and I have in common. We all love appreciating wine. Hubert and Debora are both experts in wine (I am just an amateur for sure). Indeed, as far as I know, Hubert proposed to Debora when they were visiting Chateau Margaux in Bordeaux. Another thing that Hubert and I have in common is that we both turned our hobby to our profession. As a wine lover, Hubert has stepped out of his circle and built a very successful wine business in just a few years.
We were blessed with a very beautiful summer day. We’ve got lots of great images. My favourite image of the day:

It’s really very hot, so we started off by shooting indoor at Hubert’s place. We had a lot of window light on that day so I used that to create this image:

A beautiful portrait of Debora:

Location is certainly not the most important factor of creating beautiful portraits. Lighting is always the number one consideration. Guess where we got the following two very cool images? Click here to see the real scene. Two very nice portraits created using window light and some reflected light bounced back by the wall:

Some more photos at Sai Kung. It was way too hot!

Gorgeous!
We then went to Hubert’s winery for more photos. Many thanks Hubert & Debora for the fine wine!

Love this one, resembling the scene of the very popular wine comic “Drops of God”:

Congratulations to Debora & Hubert. Can’t wait to shoot at your wedding!

Apart from weddings I occasionally do some commercial shoots. Recently I’ve had the chance to photograph Ella Koon for a magazine.
I was so excited when I knew that I could take pictures for Ella. I was first attracted by Ella’s voice when her first album “Original” was released in 2004. Obviously, Ella is very attractive, but the downside is that everyone only pays attention to her beautiful look, not her musical talent. For five years, no one knew that Ella could sing well, even though she had already released four albums. Her great voice was only re-discovered on the TV show “The Voice” in September last year. Even so, I suspect that not many people are aware that Ella is also a musician who can play piano, guitar, drums and Gu-zheng all very well.
Ella is a very cheerful and happy person. She always think positively. I could strongly feel that throughout the shoot. Even though it was a rainly day, Ella was not worried about that. It turned out that the rain stopped when we started (and it rained again once we finished).
Don’t Worry, Be Happy!
Here are just some of the images:

Ella’s latest album “Being” has been released. Let’s check out her Facebook Fan Page here.
Of course, please also check out my Facebook Fan Page here! : p
I have finished working on some of the photo shoots during the last two months. It’s time to share with you some of them
The first one I’d like to share is the very sweet wedding of Donna and Tony. As with all the guests on that day, I and my team enjoyed the wedding so much. Both Donna and Tony have a heart that filled with love. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for engaging our team to shoot at their wedding. I hope that the images could speak for themselves. Congratulations to Donna & Tony!
Getting ready before the wedding ceremony:

Love Donna’s hair-styling. Simple and elegant:

In the morning before the tea ceremony:
The morning prayer, giving thanks with a grateful heart:
Crazy “bridal pick-up” games! It’s so much fun that Donna couldn’t help peeking:
Hurray!

The very nice and happy bridal party:
At the church:
Very nice decoration and lighting at the wedding reception. The butterflies were a very nice touch:
Bottoms up!

I am very excited to announce that Philip Tsang Photography has recently been selected as a member of the Best of Wedding Photography (BOWP), an international invitation-only association found by some of the world’s top wedding photographers including Ben Chrisman, Anna Kuperberg, David Beckstead, Del Sol and Crash Taylor. The invitation came after a rigorous review process by the BOWP Review Board. Board members personally reviewed my work and voted to offer the invitation to become a member of this premier group of international photographers.

BOWP employs a unique system of peer-review to ensure that membership standards remain uncommonly high. To maintain the association’s standards, BOWP limits its membership to a total of 500 top wedding photographers from around the world.
I am thrilled to be invited to BOWP and be listed amongst some of the world’s best photographers. It’s my great honour to become part of this dynamic group that can dramatically change the face of the international wedding photography industry. Please check out the web site of BOWP here.
Thank you so much to you all for the continuous support!
